Cevapi with Delish BBQ Plum Sauce


  • 400 g minced beef

  • 400 g minced lamb

  • 200 g minced pork

  • 50 ml water

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1-2 teaspoon sweet paprika

  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 finely chopped onion (as a side dish)



  1. Boil garlic, salt, pepper and red sweet ground pepper in water. 

  2. When cooled, pour over the spice mixture, mix well using your hands and let it cool down for 2 hours. 

  3. Shape into a finger-length shapes about 2 cm wide/ ¾ inch tick. Cover tray with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

  4. Remove the meat from the fridge and add one teaspoon of baking soda to mixture and mix again. 

  5. Preheat the char grill or grill pan to medium heat. Lightly oil the grilling surface.

  6. Grill cevapcici, turning frequently. The grilling usually takes about 30 minutes.

  7. Serve with Delish BBQ Plum dipping sauce and finely chopped onion.
