Homemade Sweet & Hot Meatballs


  • 650 g minced meat

  • 50 g breadcrumbs

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 30 g garlic

  • 1 bunch of spring onion

  • 2-3 twigs fresh parsley 

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of tomato puree

  • Salt and pepper (as desired)

  • Chilito Sweet Hot Sauce



  1. Crush garlic, finely chop an onion and put in the bowl with meat. 

  2. Add breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, egg, tomato puree and season with salt and pepper. 

  3. Everything mix lightly with hands and leave in refrigerator for 30 minutes and preheat the oven to 200C.

  4. Put baking paper in the baking pan and remove mixture from fridge. 

  5. Put a little oil on hands and shape into 1 inch meatballs. 

  6. Place meatballs in a baking pan into a preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes. 

  7. Remove it from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and then pour Chilito Sweet Hot sauce over them. 

  8. Serve with a side-dish you want. We recommend mashed potatoes or rice.
