Pineapple Chicken with Vegetables and Sweet Hot Sauce


  • 400 g chicken

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 head red cabbage (2 pounds)

  • 1 pineapple

  • 1 carrot

  • 2-3 tablespoons of oil

  • 2-3 tablespoons of water

  • 3 tablespoons of Tomato Puree

  • Soy sauce (as desired)

  • Chilito Sweet Hot Chili sauce (as desired)



  1. Cut the chicken into pieces and all vegetables (cabbage, carrots and peppers) into thin strips. 

  2. Put the pineapple on the board and cut off the skin. Save a skin and make a serving plate of it. Cut the pineapple into thick cubes and set aside. 

  3. Mix the tomato puree, soy sauce, Sweet Hot Chili Sauce and some water in the pan and cook over low heat. Taste it to check if you need to add more water or sauces. 

  4. Add the chicken cubes to the other pan and bring to a simmer over a medium heat. When chicken is done, add the rest of vegetables strips and let it briefly simmer. Pour the sauce over it and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly. 

  5. Fill “pineapple skin plate” with sauce and enjoy!
