VaChilice - The Little Chili Vanilla Cookies


  • 250 g flour

  • 150 g lard 

  • 100 g fine grated cheese

  • 70 g sour cream 

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 200 ml Chilito Sweet Hot Sauce

  • 20 g corn starch



  1. Let's prepare prepare “the jam” first. Put the Chilito Sweet Hot Sauce in a pot and heat to a boiling point. Add the previously blended corn starch with two tablespoons of water and cook briefly until the mixture is like pudding. Let it cool down a little. 

  2. Put the lard, grated cheese and sour cream in a bowl and mix well. Add flour, salt and baking powder and mix to make a compact dough. Transfer it to the freezer bag and refrigerate for a while. 

  3. Place the dough on a workspace dusted with flour and roll the dough to 0,5 thickness. Then cut dough into small circles and place them on the cookie sheets. Put them in the preheated oven at about 180C for about 10 minutes and be careful - take them out before they start turning slightly brown. It will be necessary to bake two rounds of cookies :)

  4. Take one cookie and spread Sweet Hot Chili Sauce jam on it and then add another cookie. You will get a “little sandwich”. Enjoy!
